Vishranthi Church – A Place of Rest and Revival
Vishranthi Church is the ministry arm of the Messiah Mission Church of India (MMCI), founded in the year 2000 by Rev. Dr. Vinay Kumar (MA, B.D, M.Th, D.D) in the Whitefield area of Bangalore – 560067.
Planted in the heart of Bangalore’s IT hub, the church serves a vibrant and diverse congregation, including many software professionals and young families who have found their spiritual home here.
At Vishranthi Church, Jesus Christ is the head, and we are His disciples — saved, redeemed, and called to follow Him. We believe in the transforming power of Christ’s love and salvation, made possible through His precious blood shed for all on the Cross at Calvary.
What began as a small gathering led by the obedient calling of a humble servant has grown into a thriving community rooted in worship, prayer, teaching, and fellowship. Over the years, Vishranthi Church has become a beacon of hope and spiritual nourishment for people seeking peace, purpose, and a deeper relationship with God.
The word Vishranthi means rest – and that's what we aim to offer: a place of spiritual rest in the presence of God. In a fast-paced world, we invite you to experience true rest in Christ, where weary hearts are refreshed and lives are transformed.
At Vishranthi Church, we believe that the Lord’s Commission is our Mission.
Our vision is to reach the unreached millions across the earth, sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience to His command to His disciples in Mark 16:15–16:

16. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be condemned."
